A pretty good size footprint Over the years I have been asked by friends if I've ever seen a bear in Arrowbear. For 30 years I've always answered no until last year. On trash day about 6:00 A.M. I started out on my morning hike and ran right into this very large Black Bear dumping over every trash can on Spruce Dr. By the time I got my camera he was gone. I followed the debris he left behind and took this picture of his left rear paw print in the powder dirt of Ridge. The nickel was placed so you can get a perspective of the size of this guy. Pretty cool, huh!
